Client Review on Albuquerque Publishing

Feedback:

MORE INVESTIGATIONSPrint is not dead but Albuquerque Journal requires new editors with some imagination and interpretive journalism skills. This newspaper needs more attention paid to investigative journalism. "FEEL GOOD" ?A local government beat that can relate to national news would be educational. Perhaps more good news, "feel good" stories during these stressful times might feature everyday people and positive reporting that actually make us smile.IS THERE AN ELECTION? What is happening to the New Mexico electorate? We have one of the most diverse populations in the country and all we read about are casinos. How about polling local voters, interviewing them about today's declining race relations, local crime, ART, homeless, Mexican immigration? Since Albuquerque Journal reports yesterday's news in its print edition it's basically worthless to smartphone readers. INCREASE DIGITAL PRESENCEAJ needs to step up its "digital" game and have a "real time" presence in Albuquerque. After all, the cost of an annual subscription is hundreds of dollars. The city of Santa Fe has more locals who read print and its New Mexican may survive. As it is, the Albuquerque Journal newspaper is dying a slow death.
