HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS BUSINESS!My sister in law offered to pay for a videographer for our wedding in August 2018. She had already known Dave from a previous project, and mentioned his work was great. She paid Dave $1,900 to complete this video to OUR wanting.He does a great job as a videographer WHEN/ IF he completes the job. It has almost been ONE YEAR since our wedding and we still DO NOT have a finished edited video that we asked for.Dave filmed 12 hours of footage and only gave us a 5 minute video! If he were there from start to finish our video should have clips from each moment, not just a few for a 5min video.Which I'm not sure he got all 12 hours, because I heard from multiple people at the wedding that Dave LEFT OUR WEDDING WITHOUT TELLING ANYONE. Dave sent us a 5 minute video on September 2, 2018 (which was put together great) but it was missing A LOT of great moments of day, no maid of honor speech, no first dances, etc. My husband messaged Dave listing out EXACTLY what we wanted added to that 5min video. (The ceremony with the wedding party walking down, all speeches given at dinner ,there were 7, all of the first dances, bouquet/garder toss and the Nigerian dance.) He said yes he can do that but would need an extra $150 for the extra editing, but $75 as a deposit. He emailed me the invoice and I paid the $75 right away. Then he would send an invoice for the remaining balance, well I never got another invoice... because he DIDN'T FINISH THE JOB HE SAID HE WOULD. He would tell my husband "sorry for the delay, I will have it to you by the end of this week" also asking again "what would you like to see in the video?", and we sent that list MULTIPLE times...once in October 2018, January 2019 and again in June 2019. (See attached text messages,under photo tab) Then Dave sent us 20+ small individual one minute clips of the same footage he used in the 5 minute video. Then after asking for the ACTUAL video, not just one minute clips he sent a 2 minute and 45 second video to my email, but it was a REPEAT of the first 2:45 of the 5 minute video we ALREADY have, so none of the footage we listed out for him multiple times previously. I explained to him that is not what we asked for. He said he delivered, I explained to him, no you did NOT deliver. I reminded him of the times my husband has gotten in contact with him LISTING out what we wanted. Still no response back from the last email I sent. ( see attached email conversation, under photo tab) Dave has been dragging this out for almost ONE YEAR when this all should of been taken care of in September 2018. He was paid a lot of money to just not complete the job he said he would.My family is just as frustrated with Dave as we are. They have been wanting and asking to see the fully FINISHED video!! So not only did he upset my husband and I, but my entire family as well! Beyond disappointing!
