Sam has very helpful input and depending what I'm looking for he can be creatively involved or very cut and dry. I regularly work with him.Sometimes I will have a very well planned out project that I know exactly how it should sound and how I want to excitute it. Sam pulls through as an engineer.Other times I will schedule a session with Sam and bring just a rough idea to jam out. Sam serves as an awesome outside set of ears to give me ideas that I wouldn't have thought of. Sam pulls through as a producer.Regardless he will always somehow pull the best out of me. Wether it's a melody idea - sometimes changing even just one note can drastically change a song, or singing one particular word or phrase over and over to just really nail the execution, or even giving the smallest criticism on how I should play a guitar lead part with maybe a hint of more aggression. All of these small things really come together to paint the picture of why I keep coming back to work with Sam.
