This laboratory which exists within the Government Medical College hospital building, is one of the best laboratories in the whole state. With state of the art facilities, they do almost all blood tests needed for diagnosis. The charges are also quiet reasonable. The results are reliable too.

Test results can be received via email or sms if you provide the mail address/phone no. People visiting medical college find it difficult to find the way to ACR lab. An app called TMC pathfinder can help you to some extend.

THE VERY FIRST THING TO SUGGEST IS TO INSTALL AN ACR - SIGN BOARD IN THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING ENTRANCE GATE CLOSE TO ROAD.ANOTHER REQUEST IS TO SHOW A GOOD MAP OF MEDICAL COLLEGE BUILDINGS IN MALAYALAM AND ENGLISH WHICH IS EASY FOR LOCAL PEOPLES.VERY SAD TO VIEW , UNEDUCATED MOTHERS IN SEARCH OF LAB, ASKING TO STRANGERS.KERALA HEALTH RESEARCH AND WELFARE SOCIETY (KHRWS) A GOVT. INSTITUTION STARTED IN 1973, MANAGES THE ACR LAB FACILITIES IN MC HOSPITAL. HEALTH MINISTER SRI. VAKKOM PURUSHOTTAMAN INAUGURATED THIS LAB IN 1991. THIS LAB NEVER SLEEPS AS PATIENTS AND BYSTANDERS THRONG THIS AREA FOR VARIOUS BLOOD TESTS, 24 X 7........
