One of the key things that makes me recommend Atomic to others is the fact that they do more than just build what you ask them to build. They are asking the right questions; they are teaching you as they go along; they’re listening to what you have to say; and they’re trying to understand how they can come up with that out-of-the box solution.

I think Atomic is excellent to work with; they are no-nonsense, efficient, quick, responsive, and communicative. Their structure is such that they don't over-promise in terms of availability. They also paid attention to our core business model instead of just getting paid to code, when they might have been building the wrong thing. It was a huge strength to have a software partner who was paying attention to—and building against—our business need.

This company is clearly bias against anyone who is conservative. Not only that, they are incompetent, cannot follow schedules, and will also speak down to you. Avoid these large corp wannabe hipsters.

Working as partners with Atomic was an unusually pleasant experience. Our energies fed off each other, and it created enthusiasm for the project. They were very good at working with me remotely; we only met in person once during the project, but we collaborated very effectively. Atomic assigned a project manager to interact with me, and he became an irreplaceable asset to me. He quickly got the vision and had a great sense of ownership.

My partner and I came to Atomic Object after both working with a few different firms in our city on various different web projects. I've heard lots of pitches from shops about their quality of code, execution, etc, etc. And I heard the same from Atomic, but Atomic completely delivered. We were super impressed with their test-driven development process and how strictly they adhered to it—and of course what it did for our project. From private launch to public launch, I really never had that nagging feeling of 'Is this thing going to hiccup in the middle of everything?!' I can honestly say I didn't—which is pretty awesome. Beyond that, their engagement with our project and wanting to fully understand our business model made things so much more fluid. Kind of cliche, but they really did feel like part of our team—not just our development shop off in the distance.
