Client Review on Avant 8

Feedback:

I would not recommend Avant8. They will pitch for your business saying they are just as capable as other larger agencies at a fraction of the cost. This simply is not true but I think they honestly believe it about themselves which is a testament of either how little they know about marketing or just plain hubris. The Agency is staffed by young and inexperienced staff who for the most part have no experience working at any other agency and simply don't know what they don't know. They will tell you how they are so much better and more personalized than the many generic online services that are offering the same product. Full disclosure, I worked here for 8 months. I was let go via email on a Friday night after I had gone home for the day. Get fired was no big deal and was actually a relief as I was planning to give notice the following Monday and had already accepted another job and just wanted out. I was happy not to have to give notice and endure the remaining awkward two weeks. I was not disgruntled at the time I left, but I am now seeing as how nearly a year later they have still not paid my final paycheck. After weeks of requesting it and being ignored I had to file a claim with the Utah Labor Commission which I won. Avant8 still has not paid despite multiple requests by the state. Since my departure I have been told by other former employees and former vendors of things that may or may not be true, but given what I saw probably is and frankly does not surprise me. There are many better, more experienced and more trustworthy places you could take your business.
