READ BEFORE YOU SIGN.Don't believe anything Greg tells you with Experience. Unless he was taking shots of grass in his whatever x years he says he has zero when it comes to a hobbyist who loves taking photos. For example, we had an archway which thru the wind broke one of the supports. This is fixable via tape since it was made of PVC, however they continued to take photos of my and my family knowing this was in the background as an Eyesore. Imagine seeing your wedding knowing that detail is blaring out at you on most of your photos with your family. I noticed it and fixed it after half the photos were taken. Even with that the photo capture is poorly done. Expect Greg to hire or bring in more people to your wedding to take shots and video. That is because he will use your wedding as a training course to train ever more terrible photographers and videographers while your hard earned money support it. I'm only assuming they are training as everyone of them that spoke to mentioned they were knew, so it could be that he just pays random people to take photos. He will make a big fuss about using a nice camera and all, except that the photos they take are horrible. Lighting is bad and expect all your dance night photos to suck with the lighting or good lighting, but bad angle as they won't care to take a photo of your face. They don't even focus on what is behind the subject to make any corrections. This is best explained by the archway sample again. They could have said, "Wait, let's fix the arch", rather than brainlessly wasting shots on a perfectly nice camera. I am so upset past being professional in this post that i just want this company to go away and stop ruining people's important day. Not to mention the false advertising. They will claim to edit your photos without your choice only to select OBJECT Shots. not the important ones with you and your wife, just the one of objects that don't move. "Yay, here is a dress. let's waste 30 shots on a dress." Oh hey here is a piece of jewelry. I get there should be shots of those items, but they are not as important as the people. In moving on with the story that is AVSTAT, after the bad photos taken of the broken arch, they moved on to say, "ok, enjoy your cocktail hour and we'll meet you inside". Ok this may sound ok, except a Real photographer would follow you and capture all the moments you have not in a controlled environment (Which they screwed up already), but with "MOMENTS". The camera doesn't make a photographer great. The ability to capture moments does! The important ones! Completely missed the moments as the sun was setting with my and my wife during cocktail hour. I am so glad my family had photos to remember this as my photographer was probably inside eating with his 3 newbies that we had to pay extra for because they only stated 2 were to come for the wedding. IT gets better folks. I run inside the reception hall to grab my camera and tada. they take a picture of me grabbing my camera under the table and call it a professional photo. YAY! what a piece of crap. During the reception no flash was used much and like i said if it was it was only to shine the backs of your head because, they are professional.If you are reading this and sadly have signed into an agreement. do what you can to ensure you direct everything. I'm a profession BS that comes out of Greg's mouth is a lie. Also be advised to talk with his staff to ask if they are new, in which case, direct them too all during your wedding.As for the video. They will claim it is edited. OK, Unless edited means taking RAW files and just slopping them together from what ever angles without cutting anything out then yeah. Every 6 year old can say they "Edited" your video. The angles are all wrong, and zero considerations were given to the placement of the camera, so expect to see garbage.Best part is they included other peoples video. Which is ILLEGAL! if they had any sorts of rights to privacy.Don't waste your time, frustration or money.
