Feedback:

The best apartment experience I've had has been with the Axis team!I went with the Axis on 11 building to be a little closer to the main action in DTLA, and enjoyed every aspect of my team. The leasing agents were informative and helpful, and the management takes the cake. Very helpful and work as a team to help get you started, and through the stay are very attentive and care that you're having a good experience. The front desk/security were all friendly and a delight, I do miss them now that I've moved for work. Also, the internal system they use to communicate with tenants and have tenants communicate with each other (like a nice facebook/craigslist for tenants) was top notch how it was used. Not everything is perfect when living in DTLA and just an apartment building, no matter where you are, it's how you handle that which is key. And Axis is the best with communication.Give them a go. I recommend it.

Feedback:

Back in June I applied for the new property that is just opening on 11th Street. Two days after I submitted my application, I got laid off and was no longer able to provide proof of income. I reached out to my leasing agent via email, Caroline, asking what other options I have to get approved. Such as submitting bank statements and account balances, as I know this is standard practice for most apartment complexes. After attempting to contact her twice via email on our current thread and getting no response, I contacted her again letting her know that I was unhappy about being ghosted once I had told her that I no longer had proof of income and that I would like my $250 deposit that I was obligated to pay at the time that I submitted my application refunded. She responded by saying she was sorry that she didn’t receive my emails and that my deposit was not refundable. It’s bad business practice to require deposit upon application and then ghost your client during the process because you think they are a waste of your time. Since this incident I have reached out numerous times requesting a refund and have still not received a response from Caroline. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and having my attorney submit a demand letter. Have a nice day 😀

Feedback:

I had an appointment/ viewing of the property. The staff is not very professional and very rude. The staff person, made me feel I was wasting their time. From the reviews I will not be moving or considering this property.

Feedback:

I love this building and I love living here. The only issues I have are all tenant based. If people could just be decent and use common areas properly and treat the building and their neighbors with respect that would be awesome. The security team does what they are here to do, Chris is the shining star of the security team though. He is AMAZING. The leasing team is exactly the kind of people you want to help you finding the right place to live. Having lived here just under a year I frequently stop into their office just to say "Hi" because they are such lovely people. Though we do have a new property manager he seems to have a great head on his shoulders and I cannot wait to see what he will do in the coming months!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.Cons : Legal ripoff, most of the amenities don't work(most advertised), door locks to your own apartment not working occasionally so be prepared to sit in the hallway until someone comes ,garbage shots dont work for days sometimes (bad smells) , gym always closed for random reason, fire alarms going off constantly, door access dont work from time to time, random water shut offs, security not there most of the time and if they are they would be sleeping, thefts in garage.Security guards are rude , always on break and park in Handicap spots, performing their jobs as they are correctional officers in jail , while having access to your apartment ! Management is constantly trying to advertise with third party vendors , when something goes wrong they always point fingers and say well we are a new building(after signing your lease almost no help to the residents). All of the good reviews on yelp were advertised on resident portal as a raffle ticket for a free gift. Only Pro: free 6 weeks when signing the lease but the catch is when you discover all the cons you would need to pay that off even though it's "free".Not a suitable place to live in , can't wait until my lease is up.Also reached out to the property manager right after he replied to this review seems that hes out of the office till next week (auto reply just for the sake of reviews) why actually reach out when I legally have to pay rent right. If interested reach out to me and I will show truly show you what this building is about.
