Feedback:

Unfortunately this developer does not maintain their properties well. Overgrown, weeds, dead plants, grass/weeds almost a foot tall. They will not release HOA funds but also won’t disclose where that money is going. Be prepared for frustration if you move to their properties.

Feedback:

I have experienced first hand how bad John and David Barth are when it comes to maintaining their subdivisions. They do not keep their word. They have repeatedly blamed the City of Riverside for problems that John Barth personally agreed to take care of. If I was looking at real estate or considering one of their developments I would NEVER buy from them again.

Feedback:

John and David are unfortunately both very rude people. They will not take responsibility to fix or maintain their properties properly. I live in Seven Bridges and, had I known the condition it was kept in, I would have NEVER moved there. I'm so disappointed. Our pool is DISGUSTING and they keep telling lie after lie about how it's not their fault. Our beautiful waterfall under the bridge has not worked in over a year and the "pump" has been on "order" just as long. They won't release financial information about where your dues are going or how they are being used. It's a complete mess and I cannot believe these guys can even be trusted in Kansas City. My advice is to NEVER move into a Barth Real Estate owned property/community. Pictures of the pool conditions as of July 2018 attached.

Feedback:

We were in contract to buy a house in Seven Bridges with Barth Real Estate. When we went in to contract in the beginning of May we were verbally told that the house would be finished around the end of June as we explained to Barth and associates that we are a military family moving from Hawaii and we 1. Did not want to be staying in a hotel for days on end and 2. Could not afford to stay in a hotel for days on end with our two teenage boys. I should have known things were going to go wrong when the initial paperwork that was sent to us with a closing date of end of June was changed to end of July. When we questioned it, we were told it was a just in case but everything still looked good for June. We arrive in Kansas and go look at the house. in the month since we had originally had been here nothing had been done with the house. Calls to the Barth team and even the builders yielded nothing, half the time they never bothered to call or email back. When they did they would say the cabinets are going in this week and we will know a better time when the house would be done. I would stop by every day and would be lucky if 2 construction workers would be working on the house. By the second week of June, dry wall was just being put up. When I called to try to find out about the HOA I was told to call Barth... Can they be the realtor and the HOA? is this even legal? This is isn't how you treat a potential buyer, a pcsing military family, or a disabled veteran. Enjoy the deposit money as we spent thousands sitting in a hotel for a house that is being finished on a as needed basis. I urge any person to find a different realtor.

Feedback:

Excellent people cater to all your needs. They go well above and beyond to build your dream house. There is no better developer in the kc metro area than barth real estate.
