I worked for this company for a year and a half. Not only did he not pay a decent living wage, but there was NO insurance or benefits, and certainly no money to be able to get them for my family. Recently, everyone in the company was let go, with no previous inkling that this was coming, of course. He had sold the business and everyone was out of a job. After a year there, I requested to have a conference with him about a raise, and was strung along for 6 months thinking I would get it. He was always "busy", but told me we would talk about it "next week". He KNEW he was going to let everyone go for months, but chose to deceive us all. I have a degree and 25 years experience, and I am sick to death of employers who don't pay a living wage, have no benefits, and think that they can treat employees any way they choose. Here's a clue bosses; You will NOT have people that are committed and will stay, or be loyal to you when this is how you conduct yourselves and run your businesses. (The whole time I was employed here I searched for other jobs because I was sick and disgusted at trying to live on the insulting pay). We are very frugal and don't have or do a lot that most people do. We don't have expensive 'toys', credit card debt, or even a damn cell phone, and it was 24/7 stress to try to live on what I was paid. IF employers continue to think only of themselves, or are dishonest and sneaky they will not be keeping the good people! For every time that employers have a lot of choice, and too many people looking for jobs, there will always be a corresponding time when they are desperately seeking qualified and loyal help. These people, like me, will NOT be applying to these kinds of companies, and we will be the ones picking and choosing who deserves our commitment and talent.

When Erin, my print sales rep, moved over to Ben Franklin Printer from a competitor I decided to give them a try. I started out slowly, giving them only a few print projects to start. Their prices, quality and timeliness were so good that I gradually gave them more and more business.My relationship with Ben Franklin Printers has continued for almost 5 years and Erin and the team have never disappointed. Even when I have a time crunch, they are right on it! Not only do they print all our stationary, business cards, fliers, brochures, etc. but they handle all my mailings from printing to coordinating with a local mail house to get them to the post office on schedule. They have designers on staff who can make changes to materials or even design beautiful pieces from scratch.

I have utilized Ben Franklin Printers for about 20 years. I started working with them as a Special Education Director ordering forms, printed envelopes and stationary. I worked with them when I owned a store buying stationary, printed envelopes, post cards, business cards and more. I am now a Realtor and order my business cards and post cards from them and other printed materials. They do a great job. The work is done well and done quickly.
