Client Review on Big D Creative, Inc.

Feedback:

We had Big D create a web page for us over a year ago. At the time, we didn't need any functionality for out site, we just needed a pretty face as we had an ordering system that provided all of our functionality. The project went fairly smooth with no major hiccups so, a year later when we decided we wanted functionality built into our site, we decided to have Big D do the job for us. Unfortunately, this project was a disaster. After 9 months of battling with Big D and tens of thousands of dollars later, we had to pull the plug on the project. We were almost forced to close our doors as Big D refused to address problem with our new site and we had many upset customers. Their developers were in foreign countries and never available to handle our questions nor did they understand the basic concepts that we were trying to accomplish after months of discussions. The owner was conveniently away at meetings any time we'd call to discuss the situation. Although the project was outlined in Big D's preferred basecamp, they still refused to address certain aspects of the project. It was a constant battle as we were told that the existing problems were 'out of scope'. Ultimately, they were incapable of handling the level of functionality that our project required but, too proud to admit it. Once we ended the relationship they went so far as to refuse to provide us our files from the old website that we had paid for well over a year ago. Save yourself the money and the headache and go with one of the many competent web design companies out there.
