About - Bigfish

Tim Brown, Managing Director

Bigfish began in 1994.

We set out to partner with clients who were looking to communicate in non-traditional ways. As the web expanded, we started building websites and experimenting with content - pushing the boundaries to create work that was both honest and entertaining. In 1998, we created Griffith University's first ever marketing CD ROM.

In 2001, we won Gold and the Jury award at the Brisbane Art Directors Awards for our website featuring our own flash web series 'Gefiltefish'. We work across all fields of design and storytelling.
