Client Review on Black Creek Hill Farms

Emily, 11 yrs old: They didn't even seem to notice us, and talked about their problems (there were two instructor/guides) around my horse and me, who were in the middle, and every time I asked what they were talking about, they behaved as if I were being nosy or annoying. One of the instructors was on her phone half the time, and yelling at her dogs, who were running underfoot. I really wanted to yell,"Hey! Why not talk to me instead of just each other?!! I'm still here!!" I enjoyed my first visit here, but today's experience was truly disappointing. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Plus, the horses were very overworked, and the instructor/guides were obsessed with deer hunting! Not the most enjoyable thing to talk about...Addendum: We arrived on time for our hour, but were kept waiting with no greeting, no acknowledgement, that they knew we'd arrived. People were standing around talking to each other, and leaving us to ask who works there and apologizing for interrupting. They seemed to be in a hurry to have us leave as well. Luckily the dogs wandering around were friendly. We won't be back.
