Client Review on Blackwater Brewing Co

We had high hopes for this establishment, we love Davis and took and a chance (we usually only go to Siriani's). We ordered the nachos..meh, the cauliflower was pretty good and the kids enjoyed the calamari. They were out of the pierogies at 1630 hrs so we settled on the burger and the italian sausage. The fries were cold. Yes, cold. Like they sat on the plate while the burger cooked. The bun was mediocre for the burger..I was expecting a toasted artisan bun. Maybe my expectations were too high..but for $12 a burger I do not think my expectations were out of line. The beer selection was less than impressive. We will not be patrons of Blackwater Brewing Company (Barrel GastroPub) again. We will stick to Siriani's..tried and true..always delicious.
