The glass blowing class was really cool, but the final product was not quite worth the price paid. My family drove over 8 hours to get to West Virginia for this class and attended the pumpkin blowing session. After having our products delivered in the mail, we found that not a single one of our four pumpkins had ribs on them, making them appear more like misshapen apples or bell peppers. After one member's "pumpkin" arrived broken, a disappointing letter attributing our glass blobs to our novice was delivered (with a professionally made pumpkin with ribs) that did not blame the 10+ professionals that essentially held our hands to make the pieces. A notable quote from the letter was: "Note that few of the student/class pumpkins EVER look like the photos of pumpkins made by craftsmen with 40 years of experience."

I really wish that we could have made it in time to see the glass blowers but unfortunately we could not fit that in our schedule this visit. We did enjoy viewing everything and everyone was very friendly! :)

Was disappointed when I picked up my pumpkin. Looked like an apple not a pumpkin. Paid alot of money to participate and did not get what I paid to make.

The tradition continues of homemade blown glass made right here in WV. There are so many great selection of homemade blown glass: ornaments, paper weights, window displays, water pitchers, lamps, etc .. I highly recommend Blenko Glass for purchasing a special gift and giving someone a touch of glass they won’t forget.

I highly recommend taking a class at Blenko. Every single person has passion for what they do in making the beautiful Blenko creations available for us to enjoy. The factory team are incredibly friendly, helpful and explain everything so well. Many of them have been there for over 30 years. It is a treat to have them share their amazing craft and skill with us. We will be back many times in the future. Thank you to the entire Blenko team for a great weekend.

Neat place. Fascinating to watch their work. CAVEAT: Items in retail store are NOT designed for hot liquids. Pitchers, cups, etc are for show only (or cold liquids).

This little place was a great little find off the beating path! The glass is handmade and made onsite. The shop sells the glass in the store and there is a museum upstairs in the building. The coolest part was being able to go to the observation area to watch glass items being made. This is a must see!
