Client Review on Blue Dozen Design

My experience with Blue Dozen Design has been a horrific experience. More specifically our dealings James Gaffney. We started with this company in March of 2016. We were promised a "Killer Logo" by James. Oddly enough after we sent the initial deposit of $300, emails were not coming in anymore. We had to email James for an update on our project. He gave us the excuse the he sent the email and he didn't know what happened. We we did get the first round of graphics, we didn't like them and they seemed rush. There was no effort or care in the project. The designs compared to the logos featured on the website did not measure up to what we received. We sent James specifications and filled out the questionnaire and still got half thought out designs. We went through two rounds, and the designs did not get better. We were not satisfied and asked for a refund on our deposit. We asked for a refund on May 23, and have not received our money back. James promises that he will process it for next week, but interestingly enough we paid our deposit electronically but he wants to send a check. James gave me excuse after excuse about paying the refund the next week. He did this for weeks until he finally sent a check. He sent the first check that never showed. He said he sent it in the mail but it never showed. He sent the second check that actually arrived and I was quite surprised, but the surprise was on us. We deposited the check from his company Blue Dozen Designs and it bounced. It is the 9th of September and we still do not have our refund. I would not recommend Blue Dozen Designs to anyone. False promises with shady business. This is not the way to do business. If i could give a negative star I would.
