Great beer. Great ambiance. They welcome outside food and have the menus of local restaurants available at the bar. And they have live music very often. I'd definitely recommend giving them a try.

Blue Island Beer Company is truly a hidden gem in this city. I've never been poured a beer I didn't like, and never been poured a beer by an unpleasant person. If you're looking for a brewery with atmosphere, you've got it. Every week there's stuff going on--open mics, trivia, musical acts! They've got a couple arcade machines, so bring quarters! If you're keen to chat about their craft, Alan and Brian (not me 😜) offer terrific conversation and are quite happy to share their passion with you!
