Lines out the door! Worth it. Massive biscuits with a variety of toppings. Self serve house made jellies. Order at the counter and the food is brought to your seat. Great pastries as well. My only complaint was the gluten free blueberry scone wasn’t dry and crumbly like it should have been. But it was gluten free, and I should know better. Tried four different. The lookout and mountain man were my favourite! Meaty and filling!

This place is fantastic. Good a year ago and still good. Eggs Benedict is awesome. Every plate passing by looked great. Try the grits with rosemary and the jam bar. Love!

Unique and creative biscuit and grit cake offerings with excellent service - and without the rush of something more on the main drag on a Friday lunch hour!! I had the Mountain Mama which has a (large) biscuit smeared with homemade pimento cheese and topped with arugula, a grit cake, honey, and heirloom tomatoes. It was more than enough food (I could not finish the biscuit). I also had the dirty chai (chai with espresso) and it was more delicious than I anticipated! My husband had the Seven Sisters - delicious! We appreciated the homemade apple butter and jelly offerings, the coffee bar, the ambiance, the sides of items like fried okra and fried green tomatoes, but most of all the unique, creative flavor combinations. We couldn't help but grab a *gigantic* oatmeal creme pie, and a couple other dessert items to-go! Kid-friendly. You won't be dissapointed!

Had one of the most amazing biscuits with my girlfriend in the back seating area here. Was blown away by how big the biscuits were as well as how delicious! Had a great staff member help us with deciding on which one to order, then had a blast DEVOURING the delicious choices. Will absolutely come again next time I’m in Asheville.

Biscuits were good and quite large. There was also a nice selection of homemade jams and good coffee. Get here early if you're coming on a Saturday morning; there was a line at 8:15 and it was out the door by 9:00.

I spent a week in Black Mountain. I am so happy to have found this place. Delicious comfort food, great biscuits and the best vegan sausage I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend it. Definitely worth the wait in line.💛💛💛
