We booked Anthony to video our band at a gig and make a promo video for us. He offered us a discount if we paid him a deposit that same day even though our gig was weeks away. We paid him $100 via PayPal with the balance due when he delivered the final promo. In the days leading up to the gig we tried numerous times via text and email to confirm the arrangements. He responded once saying he was looking forward to the gig but then started asking for more money up front like he couldn’t remember the original deal he made with us! Tonight we had the gig and no one from Blu Light Studio showed up. No response to calls and emails - no notification that he had not planned to show up. We organized this gig especially to shoot this promo and we got totally scammed. I’m sure we will never see our deposit that we paid him.

March 26 2018 - His phone - out of order ~ email gets returned...not a valid email. I used this studio several times since 2013 and pre-paid 36 hours worth of "special deals" ... seemed like a cash flow problem. Since 2016, always had an excuse about equipment out of service. One of my friends asked me if the equipment was really in the pawn shop?? Last time I used the studio in November 2017, looked like the place was ransacked. Or someone had a temper tantrum and trashed the place. I have four recording projects starting in April. Guess I'll take my business somewhere else

I am done being taken advantage of. Music is my passion and therapy. We thought it was great pricing. I am a songwriter. Its been forever before I felt like I can trust someone with my music and now that trust is regressing again. I brought my song to him in April. He finished it for me and I haven't even heard the finished product yet. I am paranoid that he may be using my song elsewhere or that he just didn't even work on it. I've tried reaching him so many times. He will respond enough to keep you hanging on and then forget about you again. I have almost been murdered. I was stabbed over 20 times. He knows this and is still taking advantage of my mother and I. I am going to just show up and stop asking for times available. First time we met was great. Nice guy. Said he'd finish it. He did supposedly.I went to listen to the song and finish my recording time in May or June. He cancelled on me when I was 5 minutes away from the office. I was more than OK with it because I was so grateful for the experience. Said we'd reschedule.It was so hard to get ahold of him to reschedule. Next time we tried, something came up. The third time, the landlord had to finish carpeting. Two days later, carpeting still wasn't done. At that point, I simply just was trying to pick up my demo CD and the finished track we worked on. I couldn't even get 5 mins of his time without some sort of issue or excuse. I'm getting quite hopeless in him and at this point, I'm ready to just give up. Anthony, please give me my CD & money back for the 2 hours that aren't apparently happening, and then you'll get a better review. If you don't want to work with someone, you need to communicate that, otherwise you are going to be dealing with lawyers alot in your future. I pray that you're not intentionally stealing from people but that's what you're currently doing. Give back what is due earned and you'll have happier customers. Until then, I highly do not recommend this studio.

I went here once and recorded a song. Equipment was decent and Anthony Kopp was decent at mixing and mastering. Then I recently hit em up to record another song and he wouldn't reply to my texts or my phone calls. I had my friend call him and he finally answered and told my friend he can come in. My friend told him it was for me and to text me and he did just 2 hours after I initially texted/called him. He told me I'd be able to come in later on in the night and I said that was fine. Asked what time he wanted to do at 7:30PM with no reply and then again at 9:02PM and he still didn't reply. He basically sent me off and didn't reply or say anything basically wasted my time. Just texted him today "Yo man I'm really tryna record a song it's not cool that u sent me off like that bro" "If you don't wanna work with me you can just say so like a man you don't have to waste my damn time " still no reply and he probably won't reply. If you wanna record a song don't come here. You can find better for the same price and this dude is unreliable and doesn't know what communication is. EDIT: His website also re directs to some weird sketchy fake Nike retail online store just more unprofessionalism lmao
