My wife and I were married in August 2018 in Malibu. It was beautiful wedding near the beach with about 60 people. My wife still tells me it was a perfect day. My wife chose to work with Brett Munoz photograph after receiving a recommendation from a friend. Before and during the wedding, Brett and his team were very professional, showed up on time and helped direct the wedding party on where to be what to do. Everything seemed on track as expected. Everything was professional. Brett and his team captured some beautiful photos and videos we can use to remember the rest of our lives. It was after the wedding that we ran into a few issues. 1. It took a long time to get the photos and videos. He provided a few photos very quickly, but we waited until the final day of the contract and nothing had been provided. When we contacted Brett regarding the finished photos and videos. He said he worked on "business days" not "regular days", but provided everything 2-3 days later. It felt like he scrambled to do the work at the last minute. Not a huge issue, I just wished he could have scrambled that like several months earlier as these are photos/videos we would have loved to share. 2. During the ceremony, he had three cameras recording. In the finished video he sent back to us, one of the cameras was out of focus and everything was blurry. When my wife asked him about it and possibly removing the shots from that camera because it was blurry. He began arguing and saying that it was a special effect and that the camera was a value add and that we didn't pay for that camera so we shouldn't be complaining. Yikes. All I know was that 1/3 of the shots in his finished video were unusable and instead of removing those shots, he spent it arguing with my wife. 3. During the video of the speeches, we realized that one of the speeches was missing. When we asked him about why it was left out, Brett said his entire team was eating at that time and it was the wedding planners fault. While I understand the crew needs to eat, it seemed like a professional videographer would have had his team go in shifts. Again, not the biggest issue, we just have no video of the speeches that were missed. 4. When my wife tried to communicate these issues with Brett, he would instantly argue with her saying she was wrong and that she needed to read the contract and this was what she paid for. Realizing that our wedding photos/videos were potentially in Jeopardy, my wife began to cry. This was the beginning of my involvement. I reached out to Brett to discuss the blurry video and missed speeches. I asked what was possible to make those edits and get things back on track. I asked him to help make the changes so my wife was happy. Instead of solving the issues, Brett began to argue directly with me, telling me every possible reason why his blurry videos were somehow a good thing, or our fault because we didn't pay for his premium package. I employee a team of video editors and said if he could provide the footage, I could have my team edit the videos and finish this up for my wife. Brett responded that all the footage was his and we had no rights to use or edit it. Wow... Cue the wife crying.. again. I called Brett and said I wanted to part ways but needed the footage. I had zero interest in going any further with him at this point. After arguing with me further over email and phone for several days, he eventually provided the footage via dropbox and I had my team edit the video. The experience left both my wife and I exhausted from the arguing. I wish there had been a better "customer service" approach towards working with us and owning up to mistakes that were made on his end. I'm not even mad at the mistakes, I'm just disappointed in how he responded in such an aggressive manner. I wanted to share my experience so that others might be able to gain some insight. Brett is highly rated online, so maybe my experience is the outlier.

A couple’s wedding day is the most important day of their lives. Being able to have amazing photos and videos to look back on is so important in keeping the memory of that day alive and that is exactly what Brett and his crew provided! From the moment my husband and I met Brett, we knew that we had chosen the right person for the job! He is very professional, organized, accommodating and amazing at what he does! He is genuinely just a great and kind person. He prepped us very well for every photography/videography event (engagement photos/wedding day). We were able to get all the shots that we wanted and are super grateful considering the list of family shots we requested! We couldn’t be happier with the results and family and friends can’t stop raving about our photos and video! We are so happy that we have our beautiful photos and video to look back on. Thank you to Brett and his crew!!

Brett and his team were awesome to work with. Their professionalism and attention to detail really made our wedding videos turn out great. They captured all our moments and made awesome highlight videos. Additionally, the drone footage shot was spectacular - he shot amazing aerial footage of our venue and reception. I would highly recommend Brad and his team for any major event! Thanks for everything Brad!
