Our service works great. After several trouble-free years, we recently had a very challenging internal wiring fault repaired, covered by insurance at no further cost. The on-site technician was fantastic .

Worst internet I have ever had. WiFi kicks off after about 15 minutes and have to keep resetting the router. I am on my third router now and still having the same issues. I've called multiple times for troubleshooting, but nothing ever gets fixed. I'm spending 100$ a month just for internet and it doesn't even work. Downside is caltel is the only provider out here that isn't satellite, so they control the market. Once a different provider comes out, I'm definitely dropping caltel. If I buy a new vehicle, I wouldn't expect it to only run half of the time. I think my internet should be the same.

I have been a loyal customer of CalTel's for about 5 years now. Their service is incredible, and for a rural ISP / Telephone provider, they provide both excellent customer service, and quality communication services that are a crown jewel for those of us living in the Copperoppolis area and beyond. They're always incredibly patient, polite, and quick to respond and have never let me down. Obviously rural areas provide less options for High speed internet, but that doesn't stop CalTel from going above and beyond the call of duty. Where I'm available Comcast and AT&T refuse to run lines or provide coverage, and that's where CalTel comes in. Thanks for thinking local, and taking care of your own friends, family and neighbors here in the motherlode!

I pay top dollar for internet service from cal tel and it's always going out. Also, I can't use the phone while my daughter plays a video game. When I call to say it's out, they blame me for using too much. I guess too much is a phone and a game. Horrible service!
