The condo was dirty. My baby was absolutely black from crawling on the floor. I had to buy a Swiffer and clean the floors. I left a note the first day asking to be called about this and no one called. Also, the indoor pool felt dirty and had mildew on the tiles. We ended up leaving a day early and turned in the keys to the office. The next day they begin calling me to see when we were leaving. I called them back to tell them they already have the keys. It's odd they didn't already know this. The girl I was talking to wanted me to hold while she verified this. Customer service is not the strong suit here. Also, the condo seemed better on the site than in reality. Definitely over-priced. I'd leave an honest review on the website but they basically tell you to only leave nice feedback or it'll not be published. Pretty telling.

The online process of renting was a breeze. We didn’t have any problems, so there was no need to contact the office. Condo was prepared as stated and had a very enjoyable and relaxing week.

The house was great, but the we kept finding those little "burrs" in the carpet and in some of the sheets -- kind of hurt when you stepped on them.

Carolina Beach Realty provides excellent service to its guests. The mobile app they provide their guests for check-in, check-out, questions and/or issues during your stay, etc. Is outstanding. I would use and recommend Carolina Beach Realty everytime.

Worst vacation rental company ever! Do NOT stay in any of these properties! I would have not checked any stars if possible. We first dealt dirtiness of the property where the cleaning crew had to come back two extra times so it was habitable. Second was dealing with roaches in the home. Also, several unsafe maintenance issues that were never resolved (broken/open outlet covers, broken door, broken ladders on bunk beds with sharp edges, and more). It was half way through the week before these issues were somewhat addressed and it ruined the first half of our week long vacation. They refused to house our family elsewhere and still haven't responded to our complaints fully. Weeks later and we still have had no response, no refund or anything for the mess we dealt with. We stay in Kure/Carolina Beach area every year. This was the first time we went with Carolina Beach Realty and will never stay with them again. Awful! We stayed in a house on the second row directly across from beach access. We never would have imagined dealing with these issues. Especially with the cost of the property. Disgusting!
