Update:This is an example of one of the items we had requested be fixed as part of the closing sale of the house. Cascade West told us not to worry about this issue and that more things would move due to seasonal temperature which would be covered under the Warranty. The response..."flooring had moved slightly due to seasonal temperature changes and is with in industry standards. This request was deemed not a warranty issue."________________________________________________________________________Based off from my experience with with Cascade West I would recommend that you hire your own inspectors to review their work prior to closing. Get everything in writing, "DO NOT DO THINGS OVER THE PHONE WITH THEM." We have raised multiple issues to Cascade West as part of our closing agreement and under our warranty but the issues have not been addressed. I am including pictures so you can judge for yourself. If you do choose to use them these are the areas I would pay extra attention too.- Walls that are bowed and crooked - Sagging Ceilings and cracks in walls - Painting areas that don't match color- Gaps in stonework- Rafters that should have never been approved- Gutters that where clogged from construction debris which where never cleaned.- HVAC Systems which had construction debris particles that my family has been breathing where never cleaned- Damage to garage floors due to storage of building materials in the garage, Built during winter so contractors used the garage as there personal equipment storage- Roofing Issues- Damage to gutters from ladders from roofing repairs

In May 2018 we could move in after a very short building period of only 5 1/2 months. They are like family to us and really CUSTOM home builder that are rich in building experiences. They also have a wide range of design skills to make your home style become reality. Communication lines are established and open for any question that will come up. We are very happy and thankful. Cascade West Development built us a custom home on our property in Battle Ground. We have now been in our home a little over 5 months and we love it! We are very pleased with the quality of their work and how professional they all are. Their staff Jason (sales) Konrad (foreman) Darla (Design), Janet (Accounting) & Adrienne & John (warranty) was proactive and so helpful and that is rare to find. Their work is quality and done on time. I only have good things to say about them and have recommended Cascade West to many of my friends. I see some negative reviews on hear and just wanted to give Cascade West a positive review because I can assure you that the few bad reviews that I see on some of these review sites do not reflect them as a builder. They all have experience and knowledge and have done a great job in their area of expertise as well as working with each other. My home is beautiful! If you are looking to build a new home I would highly recommend hiring Cascade West Development!

The team at Cascade West is amazing. Our previous experience in having a home built in another state was frustrating but from the beginning to the end of our experience with Cascade West and the attention to detail and their expertise made it easy. Jason gave excellent recommendations on our house plan and Lester the Foreman kept us informed throughout the process. We could not be more pleased with our home and fully recommend this company to anyone that wants a quality, friendly and professional home builder.

​We contracted with Cascade West Development ​because they are a quality builder. · First was the quality and attitude of their people. Jason Stenersen, guided us through the process of selecting a lot and modifying the plan. Lester Stenersen proved to be ​a great project manager, keeping the ​construction project on time. The office staff was able to handle most of our questions, guiding us to the appropriate people when necessary.· Flexibility: While we have had several houses built, misunderstandings on a project of this size are going to occur. Cascade West’s staff adjusted to our needs through the construction process.· Finally, the one year warranty review was a pleasant experience. We found that CWD wanted the final touch-ups perfected as much as we did. We recommend that you work carefully with suppliers to make informed decisions. For example, we needed to upgrade our lighting and electrical outlets. The supplier helped with style selections but wasn’t helpful with the number and type of lighting necessary for us. Also, we are pleased that we upgraded appliances. In the end, we are very happy with our new home and have recommended Cascade West to others who were considering building a new home.​(I received a gift-card as compensation for my honest review of this company.
