Is it wrong to love a tool store? If so I'm in trouble. I have been shopping at Coastal Tool for over 35 years and I love it every time. Since their early days on Sisson Ave they have been the best around. They always have an impressive selection of some of the best professional grade tools anywhere including on line. Don't bother shopping on line. Go to Coastal where you can look at the tools pick them up and take them home for the same price or less than anywhere else.

Coastal Tool the best place to buy tools and all of Connecticut all Personnel very knowledgeable and give you the pros and cons of each particular tool they're there to satisfy you if you don't wind up liking the tool bring it back and I'll do something for you and if they don't have the two of you want I'll sell you a substitute or get the one that you need

The owner Rob personally helped answer my questions, Was not pushy at all and even told me I should rethink spending extra money on a machine that was overkill on my project. He went as far to help me lift a very heavy mortiser and bandsaw into my car. What a great family owned store in Connecticut. Give these people your business, they have better prices on powermatic tools than Amazon or anywhere else I looked online. Even considering sales tax I walked away ahead.
