I started my first company in Woodland in 2009. I lived with my mom at home, did door to door advertising, door hangars, flyers, word of mouth; you name it, I proclaim it. But business didn’t really take off for me till i started advertising with Consumers Guide. It didn’t happen at first, but all it takes is that one big client with lots of work, or that small client that tells all their friends about you. And that’s what I got from Consumers Guide.So it didn’t happen overnight, but within a year I had expanded operations to Davis, and now ten years later, I’m in 3 counties and over 2 dozen cities now and when people mention Woodland, I reminisce on where it all started.
