Client Review on Sign Company Utah

Feedback:

If you just need a simple design created, these guys are great!! I've worked with them on designs in the past, and they did a good job... But if you actually need something wrapped, go somewhere else, even Salt lake, It'll be worth the drive. I had them wrap some dash panels for my corvette, and I got them back in worse shape than when I dropped them off. Some of the pieces had been wrapped before, but only two of the six panels still had material on them when I dropped them off. I figured there wouldn't be any issues, so I chose the vinyl I wanted, and let them take the parts. After three days (which I was impressed with) they were finished. After I payed for and picked up the panels, I started looking at them, and noticing a bunch of issues with the wrap. There were some edges that didn't get completely covered; residue or something that had been left on the material, which means they didn't get cleaned before wrap; and there were chips that had been taken out of the panels, that weren't there when I dropped them off. Due to a busy work schedule, I hadn't been able to get back there to discuss it for a week. I go back and the wrap guy tells me that the panels were in horrible shape to begin with, and that they shouldn't have been wrapped in the first place, saying, "I keep telling the girls not to take in work like this, since it never turns out good, and comes back to bite us. Jobs like these are just favors we do to help out customers." (This is the most expensive "favor" I've ever paid for) I then asked them about the residue under the material, and asked if they were even cleaned before wrap, at which I was told no they were not, and the guy tried telling me that it was adhesive from the old vinyl, and that it needed to be sanded off, but the vinyl wouldn't stick if it were sanded. (70% isopropyl alcohol would've taken the residue right off) I kept asking about the new chips that were in the panels, and every time I brought it up, they would ignore me, and continue talking about something else. The vinyl itself was of good quality, but it seems like the worker(s) that wrapped them either didn't know what they were or doing, or didn't care. I was expecting that when I paid the "Professional shop prices" that I would get "Professional quality work " but that wasn't the case, and quite frankly the work quality on these panels were anything but. Now, after paying them, I have to go pay another shop to fix their mess-ups, and do it right.
