Great company full of great people solving problems that feel to great to tackle. I had a older desk top computer that I could not open or access any information. Derrick went above and beyond to retrieve our family photos. He definitely understood, I could always buy another computer, but I could replace years of memories. Thank You Derrick & Digital Link.

Testimonial: Digital Link- Derrick Meyer My first experience of using Digital Link service was about 2.5 years ago. My fairly new laptop became annoyingly slow and I went to the experts - technicians of Future Shop (Now Best Buy) . They kept my lap top for a week, and then told me that if I could leave my laptop for another 10 days they would try something different . I didn’t know what to do. I asked Derrick to try his magic and within 24 hours I had my computer back working properly. Since then myself and my company use only Digital Link for any computer related problems, and we’ve had problems… Software, hardware and even simple advice, Derrick and his staff will always have the answer. I especially appreciate that Digital Link’s service always has an added value. They don’t just fix the computer but also give tips what to do so the troubles won’t happen again. Not just install software, but advise on how to use our database in the most efficient way. These tips helped us a lot and we would never have that information if Derrick and his staff wouldn’t have decided that we need to know it and spent their time to educate us. Digital Link has the knowledge, experience and the people to accomplish this. Their professionalism and customer service is of the highest quality and their attention to detail is second to none. I would highly recommend Derrick and his team for any of your IT needs.

Appalled with Digital Link Inc.McDonald’s wifi is NOT a place to work on clients files or computers!! Put our business at risk!! We had a simple 2 computers, 1 server installation with Remote Server Access from Digital Link Inc.We are appalled and in disbelief in the level of customer service that has been provided to us. This experience with the assigned Digital Link Inc. Technician, Sylvester, has been a colossal disappointment and wasted much of our valuable time undoing much of what he did and posed a huge risk to our personal and business information.There was no conversation during the service that the labour hours were going to be grossly surpassed from the original estimate of 5-10 hours. There was no conversation at the 10 hour mark to get direction of what items were remaining, or if items could be deferred or deleted. In fact, we were surprised with an Invoice listing 24.5 hours of labour, almost 2.5x the estimate!Right from the beginning there were hurtles of trust with the Digital Link Technician, Sylvester, assigned to our project. He insisted that we only email/call him and not to go around him to anyone else at Digital Link Inc. Sylvester screamed at our Telus Service Representative on the phone, embarrassing and scaring our staff, as well as endangering our business relationship with Telus. We were clear from the Estimate stage that Digital Link Inc. was not to install any software other than Windows Pro. We are a drafting company and it is crucial that the appropriate and precise components of AutoCAD are installed on our systems that work with our environment. Sylvester not only installed Windows Home, but also completed the installation of the wrong version and components of AutoCAD and charged us for this time, which we had to correct ourselves.During the installation for Remote Server Access, the Digital Link Technician, Sylvester, logged on to a free unsecured wifi from a McDonalds Restaurant. We have extremely confidential files on our systems and cannot risk having them exposed on an unsecured open wifi connection. This is not only unprofessional for a Computer IT company to practise but is also downright dangerous for our company’s confidentiality agreements with our Clients. Sylvester fumbled around with our account and got our Remote Server Access working, but, the next day when our staff arrived at work, found that none of the hardwired computers had access to the server any longer. Sylvester was called and undid all of the settings from the McDonalds session, which reset our hardwired computers. We have not had Remote Server Access since then. All of that risk and work for nothing, other than being billed for both of these sessions!Overall, our new computer systems and server are adequate, but we are extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the level of knowledge and customer service the Digital Link Technician, Sylvester provided us. We are simply blown away with how we were treated and how a IT company can stand behind the idea of using Mc Donald’s internet as an acceptable place to work on our confidential files.

I have had an incredible experience with Digital Link (Derrick Meyer) – I was having all sorts of issues with my Outlook. Given this was a software problem I couldn’t throw out my laptop, though the thought crossed my mind. I dropped my laptop off with Digital Link (30 mins before closing), hoping I would be lucky to get it back within 3-4 business days. Just before bed I starting getting notifications on my phone from Outlook (Someone was working of my laptop). When I woke up in the morning I had an email from Derrick (2 am) letting me know my laptop was fixed and would be ready for pickup when the business opened. The team at Digital Link went above and beyond to provide the best customer service – I would highly recommend this group to everyone and will use them again in the future.

The lead that was assigned to my file is very creative and always quick to respond and react to questions or suggestions I have. Blog posts and other postings are always on time and well written. The team is always very happy to help me out with any random issue tangentially related to my online presence.
