Client Review on DJ Rockmaster

This past weekend we celebrated my moms birthday and we hired d.j rockmaster based on these reviews and by word of mouth. Let's just say....DISAPPOINTED. We paid him $550 (that was a discount) and it wasn't worth it. We asked him if he could bring wireless mics so that we could host the party and he agreed. At the beginning of the party I started the night off with a prayer which was completely ruined because his speakers started making a horrible noise during the prayer, I eventually put the mic down and finished without it. We asked him to play a game where we provided a list of songs for him to play, he would play the song and stop it while we pass a mic and whomever had the mic would finish singing the song. We thought it was simple enough however he couldnt quite get it right. There was a ton of dead air, awkward pauses and he didnt restart the song at an appropriate time. I had to go up to the d.j's booth to start and stop the song myself. He also kept randomly shouting out and promoting the caterer during the party (3 different times) which was weird and out of place. Someone walked up to me and asked me why he kept doing that. You would think that he worked for them or that they sponsored the party or something. Neither were true. There was also at least 2 different instances where his speakers started making a horrible sound while the music was playing. Not sure if they are busted or what but it stood out. He also cursed on the mic at one point (s***) which isnt a major issue because there were PRIMARILY adults there however my 80 year old grandparents were there which made it unnecessary. I would not use his services again nor would I recommend him.
