I had gone to redeem the August “burger of the month” with a friend. The August burger of the month patty was tiny and served with 5 kettle cooked potato chips. My friend ordered a blue cheese steak burger and the meat was tough and she too only received around 5 chips. Both definitely not worth the $15 price on the menu. Thank goodness at least one of our burgers were free.

Attentive and friendly service. Relaxed atmosphere and no pressure to move quickly with your orders. Cocktails and beer list are solid. Food is great if you’re looking for a meat-centric dish. The beef they use is phenomenal. Will definitely frequent this place.

In a sentence, great food and awesome ambiance. We came in for a Monday lunch date with our newborn and were greeted right away by a friendly host who directed us upstairs where we were able to glide our baby up an easy ramp to the bar and dining area upstairs. This place is adorned with cute faux and real succulents everywhere and has a great open feel with light breeze and chill reggae music in the background. They captured an island feel perfectly here. I ordered the beet salad and added blackened salmon at the recommendation of the bartender. It was sooo good. The blue cheese, mint and pepitas in the salad went together magically and so did the salmon. Service was great and the bartender and waitstaff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back to this neighborhood gem.

I wanted to try this place because the shop front looked so interesting. I guess the staff really wanted me to take it all in since it took 10min to be seated and significantly longer to even get drinks, despite so many empty tables. Service was extremely slow. The food which came way later was the redeeming quality.Reply to owner: I came in during the afternoon of July 12. I don’t believe I would have minded the long wait to get drinks and food thereafter if it weren’t for standing at the counter for so long and being ignored by the wait staff that passed by.
