Client Review on Elegance Photography And Video

I hired Elegance for videography for my wedding in 2017. Don’t be fooled by the good reviews you see, as I was. The good reviews online are for the previous owner, Cody, (before Marcus and Natalie Breaux were involved) or written by their friends and family. What I didn’t know is that: 1) they would send a completely inexperienced videographer that they had never met, did not supply any professional equipment and who would not give us our wedding footage, or that 2) Elegance wouldn’t take proper action to retrieve the only footage we had of our wedding. Marcus gave us the videographer’s name and phone number to get the video ourselves. My new husband and I had to track down the videographer’s mother and other family members and friends. We eventually talked to the videographer (a 20-year-old kid who had no professional videography experience) who told us that the footage he shot was bad (which it was). We told him that we would like whatever footage he had, and he eventually sent it to us and Marcus. Our contract with Elegance stipulated that we would receive the raw footage and an edited video, but Elegance decided that they did not owe us that anymore until I threatened legal action. What we eventually received is a terribly edited video with terribly shot footage.My advice to couples would be to not make the same mistake I did. Your wedding is precious and deserves someone who will take the responsibility of capturing it seriously. Do not be fooled by the good reviews you see and hire someone else to shoot your special, once in a lifetime day. I am left with nothing but regret over the decision to hire this company. Only hire Elegance If you want to spend months wondering if you will get the only footage of your wedding while having Elegance ignore you and your pleas for help, track down your wedding videographer for months and get the terrible video yourself and have Elegance violate everything in your contract without even an apology. We are still going to take legal action for the breach of contract issues and lies that were told to us through this long ordeal. We were promised a refund of what we paid, which we never received. I wanted to wait to post reviews until we had given Elegance ample time to make the situation right, but it is clear that they have no interest and are continuing to take away the capturing of precious memories for couples.
