To be wholeheartedly disappointed in the vendor you hired to be responsible for capturing one of the most important days of your life is an awful feeling. Our wedding was on 9/16/2017 and what was supposed to be a 6-8-week turnaround time turned into 7 months and an unfinished result. The last 5 months (allowing 8 weeks for the video to be finished) were terrible. Tony kept promising us that our video would be done at such and such date and then he wouldn’t call/text/email us back. At the end of December, Tony emailed us and said that he would be giving us a refund for the videography services as well as sending us the video. It took until the end of January to receive the refund and no video was sent with it. At the end of February, with still no video – I posted a review online about my frustrations with Tony and Empire Productions, and THAT got his attention. He called my husband and said that he had spoken with his attorney and, since he gave us a refund, he wouldn’t be giving us the video. What a guy!!!! My husband talked with Tony and came up with the solution that if I removed the reviews, Tony would send us the video along with the raw footage, and that he would also be sending us something to sign so that I could not post a review again. It took another two months and us getting ready to file a small claim against Tony and Empire Productions before we got the video. Tony never sent anything for us to sign to prevent us from writing a review (nor did I ever agree to sign something like that). The finished product was so underwhelming, it included 4 videos titled “Love Story”, “Ceremony” which was a 20-minute video of the ceremony that did not even include our son, the ring bearer, walking down the aisle and was shot from the balcony (audio was awful), “Speeches”, and “Highlight Video”. We did not receive any final product with the rehearsal, wedding day coverage, 4-6 camera coverage (Tony gave his team time off because Garth Brooks was in Sioux Falls– Tony’s reasons were really, really great), a time lapse video, guest interviews, live audio from the bride and groom, bloopers reel, or love messages (all of which are on the brochure and were part of our package). For the “Love Story” my husband redid his interview because he wasn’t happy with how it turned out when he was put on the spot – and that wasn’t included at all. I’d never wish the feelings that I have towards Tony and Empire Production on anyone. Family and friends have asked to see what we got from the wedding and I have to relive and relay this all over again. Tony was nothing but empty promises and then excuses when those promises fell through. I still have all documentation of conversations with Tony.
