Workshop Recruitment were aware that whilst their website worked well, it was a little out of date and we wanted to replace it with something new and more current. One of the factors that we needed to take into account was the fact that the business was continually evolving. With new divisions being added, new staff joining and constant changes in legislation, we had found that our previous website was struggling to keep up. One reason was that each change required planning and needed to be finalised before being given to the web company to put up. This incurred a significant cost, so we tended to wait until a few things needed doing together. Hence our website was always playing catch up with our business. What we wanted was a website that evolved as we did. Something that we could change more often and more easily, as our business grew and developed. A friend recommended Tom Perkins from the aptly named Evolve Websites. Tom came up with a refreshing idea where we paid a monthly sum for the life of the website. This figure included all of the set up costs, hosting and maintenance – but most importantly, it allowed us to be able to change the website when we needed to. Even small updates were proving to be costly before, but now when things change we can talk with Tom and he will update the site easily. Plus we have the ability to do many of our on updates too. The process has been a pleasure – Tom has helped us with the design, layout and functionality of the site and has placed the copy that we supplied nicely into the pages. It’s been a two-way procedure all of the way and Tom has given us updates throughout the process, allowing us to see the site and make changes as it developed. We are so impressed that we have engaged Tom to do the same thing with the website for our other business.

His knowledge and ability to share this without bamboozling us with technical speak has made the whole process easy to understand. He has helped bring our ideas to light and advised us when we were heading in the wrong direction.
