The video I asked Alejandro to make was incredibly complicated, requiring we interview 12 different people and string their individual stories together. The final product was a huge hit, and told a remarkable story of turning controversy into consensus and collaboration, through the people that made it happen. Alejandro was moving mountains to work with our complicated scheduling needs and rushed deadline. It was a joy to work with him.

The cinematographer-editors at Fallenleaf films are excellent. I worked with both men for my recent PBS film, and both Michael Spränger and Alejandro Guimoye, who own the company, proved talented, prompt, and considerate. They are also able to assemble a good crew. I especially cannot offer enough praise for Emmy winning editor Alejandro (Alex) Guimoye there. I have worked with Alex on films for PBS and employed his skills and advice on other projects for over 6 years. He goes the extra mile for a project, and his knowledge, ability, kindness, and work ethic are outstanding--He is an amazing editor and a fine cinematographer and he possesses a high degree of technical knowledge and the willingness to research and to refer clients to adjunct resources. . I highly recommend Fallenleaf Films for editing and cinematography and for other areas that require media expertise.

I hired Fallen Leaf Films to shoot a last-minute scene for a documentary and they were a delight to work with. They are professional, responsive, and highly skilled - being able to match the footage with that of the existing video. They matched quality, style and scene-setup easily. They scouted talent, providing many options along with a location. They fully understood the task, but allowed for me to step in and direct as much as I needed. It was a great experience, and I would hire them for both professional or personal services in the future.
