Having used mailchimp, constant contact, and icontact - I find that firedrum has been the easiest to work with, being local they are very responsive and Daniel in support has been amazing; making custom templates for me and cleaning up my databases.

I have been using FireDrum for a little over 2 years. I think it is an excellent service. It is very easy to use. You also get a great report telling you opens and click throughs. Our Community Theatre has used Firedrum for the past two years. Email marketing is the top way that we communicate with our patrons to inform them of upcoming shows and Firedrum has made it very easy to get information into the hands of our subscribers. The interface is straightforward once you get the hang of their terminology. I have recommended it to several of my clients as well.
