WORST PHOTOGRAPHER I'VE EVER WORKED WITH IN MY LIFE.My mom and I went in to see Keith 1 week before the wedding. I told him I have 3 grand parents all with their own date. Went through the list of family we wanted shots with. I even asked if he wanted me to write this down. To which he replied "not necessary, I have a list." I asked - do you have that folder I sent you a year ago with shot examples? to which he replied "yes." Had he said no - I could have resent it to him. The day of the wedding, he told my mother flat out "NO" to some of the shots she asked him to take. Very old school Italian - my parents re- painted the house on their very humble budget for wedding photos. The day after the wedding we realize - Did anyone see Keith get photos of the ballroom? Did he get the photo of the Boccella family without JJ? no. He didn't take any of these photos. I can go on with the list. When my mother and I spent hours there discussing this with him, he went back and forth on his word. First his excuse for not taking these photos was they we weren't there helping him. Showing him who is who. I literally asked him the week before the wedding if he needed me to print out a family list with photos to which he replied, no. So I as the Bride? Handling 10,000 other things- was supposed to get my check-list out and make sure you were doing YOUR JOB - you know the job we paid you extra for bc you had all this staff and these hands to help you not miss a thing. I said don't you have like photography 101 standard shot list? Bc the hall we got married at and every single other vendor told us that he should have that. His defensive answer was "Of course I had a shot list." Later in the conversation - he undoes his own lie - by saying "i didn't have a shot list in front of me." He complained that my "Wedding Planner and Maid of Honor did not help him enough." A. I didn't have a wedding planner. I had a day - of coordinator - who was hired solely to handle the talent for special performances we had- performances I discussed with Keith the week before the wedding. She was a friend giving me a very cheap friends and family discount I didn't think I needed to take advantage of her kindness and have her babysit the photographer as well. Since our first discussion with Keith, telling him our disappointments - first he was happy to help resolve it, then he re-negged on that, then he offered to do a re-shoot where we'd have to pay for his "hourly fee as a PHOTOGRAPHER." The only way I was going to be able to move past this was if he did what he offered to do- which was pay himself for the reshoot, including costs of vendors table cloths etc., and refund us. Again he's now gone back on that.My husband left me a month after the wedding- he cheated on me while I was at the hospital (early may 2018) while my best friend and bridesmaid was dying. So of course, arguing with Keith had to take a back seat. Keith thinks he is now relieved of his duty to make this right, bc my abusive ex husband was spiteful and told him to keep the photos. He told me that my name isn’t on the contract, JJ’s is so basically buzz off. A. I’m not sure that’s true - I will go look at the contract B. Who cares - don’t you want to make ur client happy. Is he really exploiting the fact that my marriage failed as a way to screw me over? As a bride, would you hire someone with this character. Even if JJ’s name is on the contract - you must know we had joint finances - you didn’t seem to worry who’s name was on the contract when I was physically handing over the checks, and coming in to meet with you. As a Bride- how can you trust this person on the most important day of your life? How honest and reliable can he be to you if to me he said “haha I don’t need to make things right with you - your husbands name was on the contract?” Slimy right? By far THE worst service I’ve ever experienced.
