If they don't feel like getting out of the truck that day expect a "No Access" message from your carrier first thing in the morning. Hope you don't need your package until the next day. Also, the post office phone number they have posted doesn't seem to work. Basically just shut up and wait til they feel like giving you your stuff.

I live in Hunington Station where USPS is one of the worst service in terms of Passport renew. I want to this post office and within 5 minutes the Manager Shanika took care of the password renual process and I was done (everything was almost filled out already). I wishes I came here first instead of wasting 1 hour at Hunington Station USPS where everyone was telling me to make an appointment and won't even look at my renewal form which was already almost filled out, and I almost gave up until I came to this post office.

I am a permit expediter for a renowned landscape architectural firm located in Huntington Village. My position requires me to handle a lot of dealings with The surrounding municipality’s building departments and their numerous board hearings. That entails a lot of certified mailings! I am a frequent at this post office and the employees there have seen me at my absolute best...smiling, laughing, like nothing can bother me - to my absolute worst… Thunder, lightning, and paperwork flying out of my hand from the gusts of wind down main street! But no matter what emotion I am in when I walk through those doors the staff at the Huntington post office always display happy smiles, infectious laughter, and they just have this demeanor about them like they’ve known me! Sarah, tiara and Shawn have got this way about them from the moment we met... it was like friends I’ve hung out with for years and years! They always go above and beyond whenever I need help but more so these 3 know how to put that friend smile on ur face and talk to u like they’ve known u FOREVER… Every time I walk in there they’ve got me rolling on the floor, seriously! Matt and you yang Are always ready to take the next customer, service with a smile, very quick and efficient with all their knowledge that they have… I can’t say anything more except for the fact that I wish that all Postal Services and post offices where like this one… Customer service is great, building is always nice and clean, forms, envelopes Stickers, boxes are always piled to the top and ready for use… It’s just a great place to be, The best post office I’d say anywhere in Nassau and Suffolk!!! I’d probably give most kudos to Shanika the branch manager… She is the bomb LOL always laughs and treats her employees with the utmost courtesy, her customers are like her friends… She’s awesome… I can see why she is the manager of that branch, she deserves it because everybody loves her, and it’s obvious why... If you want the type of service that you should be receiving in every post office and that’s nothing but the best… Huntington post office gerard street is the one to go to, without a doubt, 100%!!!! GREAT job guys keep up the good work, like always.... See you all next week ;)

I don’t know if it just happens to my mailbox but my mail is constantly missing along with packages and get delivered to the wrong address and the post office can never find it. I also seem to get other people mail from centerport as well or just in the wrong mailbox in which I always send back. The attention to detail is not efficient. This problem needs to be fixed.

The line is ALWAYS long, the staff is ALWAYS rude, and they’re so unreliable. They charge you for one piece of tape and none of their services are 100% guaranteed. Do yourself a favor, just go to the UPS Store down Wall Street, UPS might cost you a little more, but it’s completely worth it.

The worker who handled passport applications the day I went in should watch her tone with customers. There is a way to inform someone without coming off as confrontational.

The machine won't transfer the line to customer service until you don't tell them what you need help with and when you tell them and the machine is giving you different options and saying I don't get you WTH I just need to talk to the freaking customer service
