Client Review on Graham County Land Company, LLC

Feedback:

I'm curious as to what definition of the word ''open" this company used when discussing the Hwy 9 cleanup contract. The 'flagging operation' they have in place is NOT open. Not by ANY definition. If you needed to get to a hospital you would be dead.Need to get to work? Forget it.Need to get your kids to school? Ha!Instead they barely open one lane intermittently when they feel like it. You could be waiting for hours, because they are too cheap to set up a set of auto flaggers or two men with radios... like they did at the OTHER landslides in this area. And worse of all. They didn't announce these arbitrary rules for getting through ahead of time. Sign even says ''road open at 7 A.M." But a lone news article posted the night prior says 'No, wait! 8 A.M.' Actually drive out to the site and a worker says 'Well I maybe can let you through at 9 A.M.'This is some kind of corporate 'check in the box' so a private company can run off with tax payer dollars for a half ass job.Frankly, I wouldn't have even been pissed had the company had the BASIC INTEGRITY to admit publicly that they FAILED to open the road on schedule and that they are sorry for the inconvenience. But that isn't what happened.Update: Note how even their reply on Google Review is... ''Not our problem. Talk to someone else." Instead of, "I'm sorry we miscommunicated with the public."I fully understand complications can arise. Especially when dealing with the unpredictable forces of nature. My complaint has never been about the land slide, nor the road closure, but about your company's public relations or lack thereof.
