Patriot Subaru has greatly appreciated the detail and prompt follow through on two separate requests so far on list research, preparation, and delivery. All coordination was done long distance, phone and email, and both times Jon Hedges and his team were personable and prompt in their follow up. The list we received proved to be effective in the response we had to our mailings, so the quality was up to the task. We highly recommend Hedges and Company for their abilities. Hedges was contracted to help with known preexisting SEO issues. After paying their 2,000 fee and waiting a month for them to do their investigation. They provided an automated SEO word document and we were suggested a list of best practices within the industry. The kicker was they never requested access to search console. One of the root causes of our issues and never advised on any of the specific SEO concerns pertinent to the company provided prior to their investigation. Even their contract makes reference to the how valuable and how they will fully optimize search console/Bing, but they never attempted to gain access. When brought to their attention, the owner turned his back on us, went on vacation and didn't reach out to us until we chased him. He also suggested they didn't need access.During their presentation of the SEO Plan, their head SEO specialist was unable to answer specific questions in regards to parts of the website where we had expressed concerns. This clearly showed Hedges was selling only the best practices and not spending any time actually looking at the website. They never opened the book on the real SEO issues within the website. They just tried to sell what they have been providing to every customer that signs up. This was blatantly clear with their lack of response and even more clear when the concerns were brought to their attention like we never received keyword research/ site maps/etc per the contract. Hedge's responded that it is not a deliverable, its for internal use only. Going from category, sub category to Year, Make Model, or Year, Make, Model filters to category, sub category. As well as having a clean URL structure. This is basic SEO knowledge. They even had the audacity to deny having to provide proof of work done by simply stating its not a deliverable but its in the contract as being "invoiced to cover keyword research, ranking analysis, etc". We have nothing. What a waste of money for $2k and a scam.Hedges made a presentation of the SEO plan without access to search console or Bing and couldn't discuss fundamental pieces of the website while presenting a best practices cookie cutter power point. You are now blatantly lying about access and trying to paint a disgruntled customer. Unfortunately the attached, proves the lack of access by your lead SEO on July 24th. Four days after your presentation of the services that were to be done in the first month with an additional payment of $3,500. Anyone spending $5,500 would demand the company rendering services would have all of the access necessary to present their customer a $40k or more change to a website and would be able to discuss fundamental questions that have been asked since the beginning of the month. Hedges not only could not answer questions. They got defensive when these grave issues were brought to their attention. I don't need to respond to the rest of your statement due to the flagrant lying. Also to the "29 page presentation", that was provided for free before the contract was even talked about. So we have a 4 page word document with suggestions from a company that never fully looked at the website and when their lack of services provided is brought to their attention, they do nothing. Bottomline: There was never a disagreement on when Hedges was expecting another payment. Hedges proposed about $40k worth of changes to the site and did not have the proper access nor could they discuss SEO concerns that had been asked about since July. They never fulfilled their contractual agreements for the initial payment and when brought to their attention, they answer the way they do here. Dodge/ lie. Its blatant per all of the screen shots.1/18 Proof they lie, sitemaps were not a deliverable on 8/7 but are today? Hedges doesn't need access to search console but Jon keeps saying they had it in this review? Sitemap was started after your presentation, when I brought it to your attention days before you would bill $3,500. Keep digging Jon. Attachments tell a different story.
