Ryan Holland and his team are awesome. They have always been courteous and efficient and even worked thru rainstorm to get the job done.i have always been impressed with his work and landscaping knowledge and would not consider anyone else down here at the beach . His quotes were fair and reasonable with no surprises . I was so impressed I asked him and his crew to drive 100 miles to my primary residence for a much needed yard makeover . I would give them more stars than 5 if possible on the rating scale !!!

Run from this place! Worst landscaping we have ever seen. Hired to do a retaining wall and level the yard. Was to begin in April 2017, they did not finish until November 2017. It was one disaster after another with every excuse possible as to why they were taking so long. The wall had to be taken apart and rebuilt numerous times due to it was built incorrectly. The quality top soil we paid for was full of trash and broken glass. One of the workers even admitted it was not quality dirt but gotten cheap from a disreputable place. They killed 4 of our trees and tore bark off others. They’re equipment was always breaking down, etc. In the end the yard is a torn up mess and the wall doesn’t retain dirt but leaks dirt each time it rains.

H&H installed my lawn (zoysia) a few years ago, and provided ongoing periodic chemical applications - and it looked beautiful (many compliments). Unfortunately Hurricane Florence impacted priorities for many landscape service companies, including H&H - and my pristine lawn suffered from lack of attention. To his credit, Ryan (owner) accepted responsibility, and agreed to "make it right" - and he did! Mark, Molly and Amy did a fabulous job stripping out all of the weed and nut grass infested areas and re-sodding all of the impacted area of the lawn (significant portion) - working virtually all day in near 100 degree heat. I discovered an issue with one of the sprinkler heads later in the day - called Ryan and left a message - and Mark was back over by 8:00 the next morning to repair it. Ryan delivered on his promise, and his team did an outstanding job with the new installation. Now if they can just keep the hurricanes away...S. Johnson - Emerald Isle, NC

Ryan at H&H displayed professional courtesy and concern for the customer, even at his own detriment, and I recommend others at least give them a call. He came to give me an estimate and after assessing the situation, actually advised me to go a different route entirely, essentially encouraging me NOT to use his services or pay for unnecessary landscaping. I was impressed by his candid and honest opinion and it was also refreshing to see that decent businessmen still exist. He stayed and talked with us even after we decided not to use his services, and even encouraged us to take a vacation with the money we saved--I still think my wife might have bribed him to say that. While I can't comment on H&H's landscape work, I can say that in my experience, their customer service is top-notch and I think that is just as, if not more, important. Check them out if for nothing other than a friendly conversation.

Thanks to the hard working team @ H&H! Ryan, the owner, was on time for our initial meeting and offered a few solutions that fit our budget. His estimate(s) and feedback were fairly priced, easy to follow and prompt. On the day the crew arrived, I was so impressed; they were tidy, polite and focused. I work from home so I was fortunate to see the transformation in progress; Ryan made several appearances to ensure I was feeling good about the results. My expectations were exceeded and I would only use this crowd for landscaping! FANTASTIC, meticulous attention to detail! Thanks to Jose, Ricardo & Mark!
