Alisha at Pier recruitment really helped me out when I was in a desperate struggle with work. She was patient, understanding and incredibly efficient when it came to relaying new details between myself and my new employer. It was obvious that Alisha not only wanted what was best for myself as her candidate, but also the company she was hiring for, which is a welcome change of pace for recruitment companies.I would highly recommend Pier Recruitment to anyone looking for a new job, and if she's not too overworked already, ask for Alisha, as I don't think you could have someone better fighting your corner.

Wonderful experience at Pier Recruitment. I was able to meet with an associate, register and fill out all the paperwork on a Friday and by Monday they had me assigned to a one-week project. Daisy took the time to really go through my CV and understand my skills. She continues to stay in contact and communicate about any opportunities. All in all, a very professional and positive experience.

Daisy at Pier Recruitment has always behaved in a professional manner and been able to communicate effectively between myself and the client. From her attitude and communicative style you can tell that she is focused not only on finding the best solution for the client but is also respectful of the individual worker. I have spoke to several other people that have worked through Pier and they have all stated that they found them to be very professional, and, often more so than the competition.

Daisy is probably the best recruiter I've dealt with. Always on top of everything, proactive and has ensured I'm kept in the loop throughout the process. Can't really fault these guys. Also the video interviews are a great idea, as I went into an interview with people who already knew who I was.

Due to unforeseen circumstances I became unemployed when my employer became insolvent. I registered with numerous recruitment agencies in and around Brighton and Hove, Pier Recruitment were head and shoulders above the rest. My period of unemployment lasted longer than anticipated and throughout what was a difficult time, Pier Recruitment were extremely supportive and helped me remain positive in my quest for new employment. The team were understanding, displayed empathy, were always in contact and went above and beyond in every aspect. Added to that, unlike other agencies, they listened to me and treated me with the utmost respect. Not only did they help in my search for permanent employment but whilst this was ongoing they provided me with several temp assignments that matched my skillset as a skilled professional. I can't recommend them enough and if I'm unfortunate enough to find myself in the same situation in the future I would have no hesitation of going to Pier who I know I can rely on.To sum it up, they were an absolute pleasure to deal with and I wish them all the best in the future!!

August 2018Having worked for Pier Recruitment for a few months, I am happy to say that I work for them. My main contact is Kirsty, who is always happy to help, friendly and keen to get the right jobs for me. Kirsty’s positive attitude and words of encouragement have also helped during the interview process.In addition to this, I have been in contact with Chloe, Katie, Daisy, Lisa, Ellie and Emily who are friendly, helpful and I feel I can ask them anything.I like how the team shares information with each other and both temporary and permanent positions are not just assigned to one person. As a result of this, a team member is free to contact you with potential positions, interview details or answers to questions. This makes the searching and application process quicker. For example, when Kirsty is out of the office, another team member would continue with the application or interview process.Payroll is very efficient. They have always paid me on time and even check to make sure I haven’t forgotten to submit a timesheet, which is a pleasant surprise. This high level of customer service has exceeded my expectations. Overall, Pier has given me a variety of different temporary positions that have been enjoyable and positively challenging. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for work and has a good work ethic, because the team will endeavour to find you the positions you desire the most.Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication!
