We've given the Hyde Park Brewery three chances and last night definitely solidified never again. It's not an issue at all of staff or setting. We've always had lovely servers who are attentive and helpful and the atmosphere is pleasant. The problem with this place is the really mediocre food. I really don't feel that having the word 'brewery' at the end of your restaurants name should give you the right to up charge plates 7-12 dollars when the food is unmiraculous. Our fries and chips came completely unsalted, our Thai shrimp appetizer looked like someone tossed shrimp onto a plate from across the room, and the veggie burger I got crumbled apart and tasted really like nothing other than the relatively bland guac on top. I do understand as well that we went out on a Saturday night which is likely their busiest evening and while this has been our worst experience here yet, none of the others have been anything extraordinary. If you're going to come here maybe just stick to the beer.

Hyde Park Brewing has a great decor and clean look. The staff was accommodating and we were served in a timely manner. The beers were on average pretty good and my guests were all pretty happy with their food (except for me) the burgers got good reviews.. There are a couple of things I did not like: I ordered the pasta pomodoro with chicken (extra 5 dollars for the chicken). Which I wouldn’t mind paying if the chicken wasn’t dry (I have a feeling the chicken was just reheated in a microwave)... the prosciutto was also very thick. For the 27 dollars for chicken and pasta would be fine if the plate was delicious; however I found it underwhelming and a little diner like (normal pasta, bland parm cheese and wierd prosciutto). The fries were good... the buffalo calamari was over cooked.. I loved seeing the tables outside and I wish there was more seating available outside. The bar is stunning. The amount of different items on their menu is maybe too much.. they would do better if they lowered their amount of food offerings and focused on their good dishes. See attached photos

I really wish I could give them a better review but I can’t. I have gone twice and the food just couldn’t cut it. My last visit I order a burger medium well not a hard item to cook. Well they screwed it up again, the burger started out medium to medium rare then I got to the center and it was rare !!!So either one of two things the cook has no clue on how to make a burger or use a thermometer or it was frozen when it was put on the grill. The beer was ok nothing spectacular, with the amount of micro breweries an breweries you should be on your A game and your not even in the major leagues !!Sorry I won’t be trying your establishment again

A bit overpriced but the food and beer all tasted great. The biggest drawback, though, was that a flight of four tasters costs $14! It isn’t listed anywhere on their menu, but I would’ve settled for a regular pint instead of paying that much. Go to any other brewery and a flight costs as much as a pint, maybe a dollar more, but certainly not twice the price! Will try other places before returning here.

The absolute worst service I’ve ever gotten. Our waitress was nasty from the second we sat down and talked badly about my friends and I when we were nothing but nice from the moment we got there despite our horrible service and her disgusting attitude. Wouldn’t suggest coming here. Food wasn’t that great. There was no alcohol in our drinks. Waited over an hour just for appetizers and another half hour to 40 minutes for the rest of the appetizers and food. Worst waitress to ever exist. If I could leave zero stars I would but that’s not an option.

We were traveling through the area and stopped here for dinner. Very interesting menu that lived up to it’s character. Being tired from our travels I asked Travis, our waiter, what he thought of the different dishes and drinks we were interested in. We went with his suggestions and were extremely satisfied with his recommendations. I started with the onion soup which Travis said was outrageous, he was spot on. I had the meatloaf and my girlfriend had the salmon. Again Travis’s recommendation were what another hit. After our dinner we were interested in an after dinner drink and went to the guy with at they point was batting 1000. He didn’t disappoint us. The meal was fantastic, thank you Travis for helping these weary travelers long day come to a delicious ending.

On behalf of our team, we wanted to extend a warm and huge thanks to Hyde Park Brewing Co team for a spectacular evening. Our Food Team had such a nice time touring the brewery, meeting Aaron the brewer and enjoying a very memorable dinner together. Our server was awesome and the entire staff was a treat to meet and chat with.Thank you for exceeding our expectations. We have recommended you numerous times already and will be back the next time we are on the east coast.

Never again! The meals were way over-priced. $25 for a very small piece of salmon. We asked for a bowl of fruit and the waitress told us the kitchen was too busy. WTF! We asked what type of beer they have and she said "Just read the menu". They gave themselves a very generous tip and added a line for an "additional tip". What is that? Beware!
