I approached Adam and the team at Ideabox for a custom-build booking app for a photography studio. The UX designs were quite bespoke and I didn't feel that any of the other app developer agencies were up for the task. The thing I liked about Ideabox right from the start was their honesty. I had the feeling that the other agencies I spoke to said yes to everything with the idea that they could either learn it later or change the deliverables once the account had been secured. Ideabox were straight up and told me what was possible within our budget.Working with Adam and the team throughout the project was a pleasure. They stuck to the original time-line and we're extremely responsive to last minute changes in the design and functionality. This was my first time project managing an app build and they were able to provide recommendations and suggestions beyond expectations. While developing and distributing our product, an app called Like It? Find It!, we have had a lengthy association with idea box. We chose to engage the team at idea box due to their assured approach at initial negotiation. They continued to have the same approach throughout the project, with competent technicians to build the app and ongoing assistance to get our product listed on the App Store. Their advice on many facets, including peripheral issues that were not originally in their brief, was especially valuable to us. We were able to contact idea box almost any (reasonable) time to report concerns or ask questions, and to get help in dealing with third parties, such as domain hosting companies, Facebook, other website developers and so forth. The managing director, in particular, was always approachable and handy in solving problems, even those that were caused by circumstances external to his company. Development costs were very competitive with other groups we had researched, and all work performed in an efficient and professional manner.
