Sal Galvano and his team photographed our weddings on July 13th, and July 15th, 2013 in New York and New Jersey. We had traditional Hindu and Catholic ceremonies days apart with a reception that followed the Catholic ceremony. Where to start; Sal was extremely professional throughout the entire process, from our initial interview through to the actual events. We initially booked him for our engagement shoot where he took us to places that showed the real beauty of our city. With backdrops that seemed to have come right out of a magazine. Short to say we were very pleased, that allowed us to make the easy transition in booking him for our long wedding weekend. He was able to effortlessly blend himself into the background ambiance during our Hindu wedding where to be honest we didn’t even know where he was at times, until we saw the photos and thought wow!. He was able to capture the beauty and colors of the wedding without being a nuisance. It allowed the days to be about us, he captured the moments necessary to seal our beautiful memories while not directly influencing them. To say we were pleased is an understatement. His creativity especially showed in the photos we took at a castle close to our hall in New Jersey, the way he used the sunset and shadows to create the allure of magic in the photographs was extraordinary. The main reason I would recommend Mr. Sal Galvano as your photographer apart from the fantastic work he produces, has to do with the shooting process. I’ve been in weddings before where it is tedious, where we are constantly positioned and moved awkwardly, with Sal that wasn’t the case, he allowed us to naturally move throughout the day, where he was able to get the shots needed for a beautiful wedding album while allowing us to enjoy our wedding day.
