Client Review on Instant Imprints - Smyma

Feedback:

On Wednesday, October 18th, I was forced to pay full price for embroidery on my son's jacket (a part of his mandatory school uniform) when I first placed the order. When I returned on Wednesday, October 25th to pick up the item after the girl called me, I realized that instead of placing embroidered initials on the jacket, the girl intentionally placed a grotesquely large iron-on on his jacket. At that time, the girl had left for the day and I encountered the owner, who seemed rather lackadaisical about the ordeal, yet obviously watchful of my 8 year old son. He responded to me, "Well, that's what you get for a rushed job. It takes a week for embroidery." When I indicated that it had been a week, he then said, "This has never happened before....What do you want me to do about it?" The owner, looking at the jacket, stated, "I don't know if this is going to come off. We'll try." When I returned to the store, the girl was extremely nasty to me when I complained about her not adhering to the paid receipt. She refused to admit to her intentional mistake. The girl lied about the font chosen for the jacket and backtracked her statement when I asked to see the font that I initially chose for the embroidery. She stated that the font was different because it was an iron-on. The shop tried to remove the iron-on based on the picture presented, but the result of their efforts was unequivocally unfavorable. They mentioned getting a solution that might remove the iron-on. I'm concerned that the "solution" may put the life of my son, who suffers from allergies, in danger. The girl ruined my son's brand new jacket, which he hasn't been able to wear for two weeks since the weather became colder. The owner, who clearly cares less about me as a customer, ignored my request to return my money and pay for the new jacket. If I could give them negative stars, I would. I initially wanted his winter overcoat monogrammed as well. I thank God that I chose to get one item monogrammed at the time. I was eager to find a local business that does embroidery for other items that I get embroidered (e.g. yearly bookbags, button down shirts, etc.) and thought I found it in Instant Imprints. I soon realized that this business instantly prints the wrong items with extreme, unprofessional pride.
