The only thing good out of the whole box we bought were the burgers.....Garbage meat and company.

Sad part about this review is that people won't read it in time. Today we had a door to door salesman named "Jeff" who...first thing out of his mouth was "this is my first day on the job man...and I'm training another guy!" gave us a very dishonest sales-pitch. With out going into all the chit-chat he told us he would sell us 28lbs of beef(which is what he claimed is the poundage of the variety of meats in the beef package deal) for $350. He said it's a $460 value. We said no thanks. He then said he'll give us a deal. The entire box for $189 plus a free cheese cake. He was quick to come down in price, and in hind sight I should have haggled some more. We've purchased steaks before at $10/lb so we thought this was a good deal. Made the deal for $205. That's when we realized we made a major mistake. Off he zoomed and we took the meat to our scale. 16lbs. SHAZAM. Learn from our mistake. Dishonest salesmen are no fun, and I'd stay away from any company that doesn't answer their phone to report a problem.

Darla who works here JUST called me because she parks in a handicap spot EVERYDAY just so she can plug her car in. I've called this place once about it and now the fact that one of your employees is calling me at night and yelling at me because she isn't handicap and parking in a spot is outrageous. Unless I hear from this company TOMORROW I will be contacting the police about her abusing handicap parking. I'll also be calling my lawyer for harassment! Oh there is no way for her to have my number besides the fact that YOU all gave it to her! I'll for sure be calling the news next. Get your employees under control!!!!!

I was originally told I could split payments and if need be to change the payment method. I called to change the payment method and pay the rest of the balance. I was informed would have to drive 45 minutes to their office and make the payment in person. I did just that. I arrived a little after 12 pm to the building locked but the sign saying opened. No one woluld answer the phones for the location or the corporate office. We called multiple times to avail. This is out first and last time ever purchasing from them. First the sales man lies to us. The. We drive 45 minutes to their office to it being locked and no one there. Absolutely the worst experience ever.

IOWA STEAK CO. Update!Please share! Yesterday afternoon a salesman in a hat with a beard knocked on our front door. I was at work. My girlfriend was home alone feeding the baby and did not make it to the door in time to answer it. She did how ever make it to the door in time to watch the Iowa steak salesman remove our Dallas Cowboys flag and flag pole off of our front porch railing. I contacted the sheriff's office and they immediately started searching for the delivery truck. Could not track them down as the door to door salesman had hurried out of town. Numerous calls were made to the corporate office and the regional office. In which I was told that their employees are not thieves, and asked if I had photographic evidence of the incident. I did receive a call back yesterday evening inquiring about the incident. With no mention as to who I was speaking with the caller acted as though I was dreaming all this up. Today I decided to do a follow up call and was transferred to the same "manager" I talked to during yesterday's initial call. He informed me that the guy who called me last night was in fact the driver of the delivery truck. They do not have my flag and that the employee is still working for them. When asked what was to happen to make this right. I was told if I sent a bill to them they would reimburse me for the flag since I want to make such a big deal out of this. Um excuse me, YOUR employees walked onto MY property and STOLE from me, avoided any further sales attempt in city limits, LIED to me on the phone DITCHED the stolen property somewhere after they got a call from manager, and your customer service is worthless, why wouldn't I be upset? Oh btw I will offer you a one time offer of free advertising! So here it is: NEVER EVER BUY FROM THIS DISGRACEFUL, DISHONEST, THIEVING, PRICK OF A COMPANY!

Terrible meat. The "filet mignon" had more fat in it than my 300 lb grandmother. Avoid this company.
