Feedback:

We have used several AV companies over the years.J&K Electronics was by far the best. Reasonably priced, excellent work product. Everything works as they promised and they don’t try to up-sell to more expensive equipment. Highly recommend this company

Feedback:

Gus was knowledgeable about the equipment I wanted installed. He looked out for me to try to save me money where possible. And he genuinely cares about his clients, responsive at all times to questions and requests.

Feedback:

We are really happy with the theater Gus built for us.Gus was really helpful with designing a good theater that we could fit in our budget, and was really responsive throughout the whole process. He didn't push expensive stuff that we didn't need on us.The installers were professional and did a good job of setting everything up and made it really easy to use.Overall, we are really happy with the work done

Feedback:

About two years ago I was looking surround system with one remote. I had been recently disabled and have limited dexterity so it was imperative for this system to be easy to use and work within my limitations. I heard J&K Electronics had a good reputation and gave them a call. Gus, the owner was very responsive to my needs and designed a system that was easy for me to use. Everything sounds good, looks good. I was very pleased with their service and professionalism. entertainment and they actually listened to what we needed and succeeded in providing an excellent solution. I would recommend this company without any hesitation.

Feedback:

The guys at J&K Electronics did a phenomenal job installing a home theater system multispeaker unit and several mounted TVs. Gus lead the charge and throughout the entire process kept proactive communication all the while being honest and completely reasonable throughout. He spoke in terms that a novice person would understand when it comes to electronics and the work that was needed to be done. He was able to come and work during hours that fit in with our busy work schedule and made sure to finish before our big holiday party. In short I highly recommend Gus and his team at the J&K Electronics for any home electronic project did you decide to pursue. He understands putting the customer first .I was satisfied 100%. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Feedback:

Had them install remote camera system because of a lot mischief going on in my condo,s. I can now see car and perimeter on my TV! Work was done fast and within my budget.

Feedback:

Absolutely terrible. Gus is a nice guy, but it seems he doesn't really know technology very well. He installed a home automation that doesn't work, installed a cell phone booster that doesn't work, and installed a motion sensor light that works half the time. All that cost me around 8k. I've had to hire another company to undo what he did and it's gonna cost me another 5 to 8k. Avoid this company.

Feedback:

I called J&K at the beginning of the June to get some info about our TV that wasn't working. I was told that they did indeed service our area and that it was a $59 service call but that the $59 was applied to the bill if you ended up getting the TV repair done. Gus showed up and went to work on my TV on June 10th as scheduled. He diagnosed the problem to be a power supply. As we discussed pricing, he said the service call was $99. I told him that isn't what I was told but no problem because it was going to be applied to the repair anyway. Then he said it was not because I do not live in their main service area and that the service call can be made to be $79 but not applied to the repair. So I got a little ticked and faced with a 400 TV repair, I just told him to never mind, I wrote him a check for $79 and told him that I would be certain to post reviews about my poor experience with his company. He tore my check up and said, I don't want to have a mad customer. I told him, I'm just trying to understand all the things I was told and how they were different but really by the time we looked at his estimate, we were arguing over about $60. He called and found a refurbished part and so still a little uneasy about the way things had gone, allowed him to take the TV. He said it would be returned to me at the end of the week and I told him could he bring it middle of next week as we were going out of town that Friday. He said fine. The next week, as Friday late afternoon rolled around, I never heard from J&K electronics. I called and it went to voicemail and I left a message (the shop may have already closed by that time). That was Friday 6/14.On 6/17 I called and my TV was not fixed yet, but it would be done by Wednesday...I told the customer service person that it wasn't what I was told and could Gus please call me. No call came. I called on Tuesday and again, Gus was not available and he would call me. He did not. On Wednesday 6/19 I recieved a call saying my part was in. I asked to speak to Gus and he was not available and did not return the call.On 6/24 I was told my TV was done and FINALLY Gus called me. I told him I was unhappy with nothing being done as he said it would be and he told me he would deliver my TV the next week on 7/3. I told him that wouldn't work as we had a party scheduled for 6/29 and needed the tv. He told me that he was booked up and his million dollar install couldn't be put off for one little TV. I was livid pissed! I told him that I would be down to pick up my TV the next day. At that point, Gus started telling me about a band across the top of the screen that must have been there before he picked it up where the picture is distorted. Aside from the TV being hard to turn on, there was NOTHING wrong with the picture prior to me sending it with Gus. So now, I've paid over $400 to fix a tv that came back in worse shape than when it left and because the owner couldn't be bothered to deliver one little TV, I had to take an hour of my time to go pick up his TV (which they didn't even discount the fact that they didn't deliver it after Gus made such a big deal about how the service call paid for the fact that I was so far out of his normal service area. After this experience, I started looking at the reviews online about J&K Electronics and while I didn't do so before I called them, I wish I had because it's filled with people who had nearly the same experience as I did. Gus is a nice guy I think, but runs a crappy business.

Feedback:

Over priced. Do not believe them when they say they will fix it within 3 days that is not the case I brought my tv in on Saturday and I had to call them on Thursday just to get them to tell me the price. Labor alone was 280.00. It was 325.00 for the parts, and when i research the parts online they were only 50.00 a piece and J&K was charging me 99.99 per part. They rob you blind the bad part about it is that... They have no customer service and clearly they have not realized that people can google the parts and get them for cheaper. Instead of paying them I went to best buy and got a brand new 60inch TV for 526.03 same samsung brand they had a sale. People wonder why Mom and pop stores dont last its because they try to rob you blind
