I had a problem with a cracked screen on my Toshiba Satellite laptop, being touch screen, the crack (I thought) was seriously affecting normal use, sometimes it would work for half an hour, other times not at all. I'd contacted a couple of PC computer and repair shops but found them generally disinterested and unhelpful, one quoted £200 minimum. I didn't want to spend that much on a repair as it was being used as a spare in a different room from my main PC. But as a last resort I googled computer repairs in Hertfordshire and Kane Computer Services came up. I initially called them and found the proprietor genuinely helpful. He suggested I drop off the laptop for him in Stevenage so that he could look at it over the weekend after which he would give me a quote. Sure enough he called on Monday morning and explained the problem was the touch screen digitizer and not the screen which didn't need replacing unless I wanted to. He gave me an estimate and opened the laptop and disconnected the touch screen and the problem was solved, he even vacuumed the inside and the vents for me and I was able to collect the laptop the next day. I was pleasantly surprised at the quick, personal service I received and the modest cost of just £40.00 and I have been using the laptop eve since without any problem. So a Full Five Stars to Anthony - I thoroughly recommend him and I will be keeping his telephone number to hand just in case of any future problems. Regards Tom

I was in a tight spot, my normal PC doctor being away on holiday abroad.You not only healed the lack of ability on the part of my PC to send or receive emails, but furnished me with a new password and were able to delete a huge backed-up volume of mail messages which had been encumbering my system and slowing it down seriously. You also gave me sound advice on the need to clear useless back-logs of material regularly.So that's five good things you did for me, right there, the sixth being that you didn't become impatient with my only partial understanding of how to go about optimizing my system, but quietly set me right.If I could award gold stars to you, you would certainly receive five, and deserve six!Thank you again, Anthony, for a grateful customer, and I hope that the summer continues to go well for you.Yours sincerely.COLIN BAILEY

I would highly recommend Kane Computer Services to carry out any problems or repairs to your computer. I have had quite a number of issues and Kane Computer Services have managed to sort them all out. Their rates are also very reasonable.They are local to Stevenage and will come out at short notice. I cannot speak highly enough of this company.
