karuna Vidyakshetra a school which is totally against the name, a school which punishes kg students for talking in the class make stand a 5 year old boy outside the class for talking in the class, but yeah which should agree that an arrogant principal is so supportive for their teachers rudeness towards the tender kids,,,,,,

I would like to share my unforgettable and bad experience with Karuna Vidyakshetra…!!!I had high expectations about this school which made me select the school as the first option for my son but it ended up in a disaster!!My son was enrolled in KG1 in June 2018, initially, everything was very smooth. At the beginning of this term, I came to know that few of their teachers had resigned and new faculties joined. During my casual conversations with my son, we understood about the punishments for silly reasons. We are expecting their teachers to maintain a mother-like friendly relation with our kids especially at this tender age, but the reality is not what we expected.After a week, my son in KG2 informed me that the teacher made him stand outside the class for talking in the classroom. I felt it’s quite unusual to make a small KG2 kid stand outside the class for such a silly reason which is not acceptable. These children are at a very tender stage in life where such bitter experiences like as punishment and being secluded from class sweet distributions etc. can create a very negative impact in their mind.We couldn’t resist ourselves to keep quiet on this above issue, my wife went and enquired about the incident. Not only was the response from the teachers and principal disrespectful and ignorant, but they were also trying to cover up the issues. The management even claimed such silly statements against my 5yr old kid, that he may be taking revenge on the teacher. We demanded to check the CCTV footage based on the confirmation from a female helping staff about this incident. The CCTV footage showed to us did not include the footage of this particular incident.Involvement of Principal in this issue only heated up arguments and even threatened us to not teach them how to treat kids. My wife couldn’t handle the situation and left the school in tears. Right after my wife left the school, someone from school management contacted me and apologized for the bad behaviour from the principal. They informed me to come again and check the CCTV footages. Next day, we checked the CCTV and found the incident on their recorded video backup which was hidden from us intentionally before. The school management had left with no other option than convincing us and requesting us not to go for any legal actions. As a disciplinary action, they suspended the accused teach for 1 month. After experiencing the bad behaviour from Principal and non-trust worthy staffs, I didn’t feel safe to continue my son’s education in this school anymore. The way they are treating the parents forced me to take such a decision and later we came to know that there were similar incidents in the past.The issue could have been solved by a simple confession for a mistake and commitment to ensure to avoid such incidents in future. But covering up the issue and protecting the staff and reputation of the school will generate more and more unhappy parents like us…!!!!
