This recording studio is fantastic. I began recording a full CD there a few months ago, and it's been a great experience. I chose this studio because I had gone on to different recording studio websites and listened to music samples. Keep the Edge, by far, had the best sound samples. Keith, the studio engineer, has been such an amazing resource. He's been producing, helping to arrange the songs, and has given invaluable advice about my songs and the instrumentation. Keith is very mellow, laid-back and willing to work with the artist on what their creative vision is. I had one song that I struggled with on how it should sound….. drum beat, speed, etc… and he helped me get the song to the right place. I love it:) The studio is beautiful and the equipment they have is state-of-the art. Keith hired a band for me which were all Berkeley graduate musicians, and they were phenomenal. I also used Jakub for violin on some of my songs and he arranged a quartet to come in and play on one of my piano ballads. He is unbelievably talented, as were the other musicians he brought in. It’s been a blast working with these guys, and I feel truly humbled to have so many musically talented people working with me on my album. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone looking to record a song or album.
