Kolodo Ltd designers put Luton Scouts website on the world stageThanks to designers at Kolodo Ltd, Luton Scouts are now on the world stage with a state-of-the-art website. The volunteers from Bedfordshire said, “Times were a-changing in Luton after two Scout Districts merged and the total Scout population in the town touched 1,400. We just needed a web site to tell the world about our many adventures.”The town’s media team thought they knew it all. They had several enthusiastic and experienced press people and photographers even if they were last season’s models. One of them bought a bargain-basement website design package and read the instructions. Soon they had their first faltering pages followed swiftly by the occasional ‘error 404 message’ and then the blue screen of death!Salvation came in the form of Kolodo Ltd recommended by a friend in Tunbridge Wells. The Luton Team said, “We shovelled the debris of our early attempts down the line to Chester and waited.”It was magic. The Kolodo guys carved out a brilliant, state-of-the-art website for us with every pixel sparkling. They then took us on one side to hammer in the simple instructions for looking after our baby.Somehow they knew that we were the best that stone-age Britain could produce but never once gave up as we struggled with URLs, toolbar toggles and popups.
